La Rosa comes from four farms located in the Naranjo district. Naranjo is divided into 29 coffee growing areas that are “blessed for coffee” enjoying ideal growing conditions - soil, altitude, rainfall, and temperature - that combine to produce a unique coffee with delicate aroma, mild body and overall pleasing taste.

SHOP NOWPurchases of this coffee supports over 884 very small family farmers and their communities on the western slope of Uganda's premier coffee growing mountain, Mt. Elgon. Our delicious organically grown and ethically traded coffees are produced on the western slope of Mt. Elgon in Eastern Uganda by 884 farmers who qualify as "micro-farms" because they only farm an average of 2.4 acres. Unlike many conventional coffees, these farmers produce so little each year that they must band together to bring their coffees to market.
